Friends, we are so excited to share this good news! We have received a $1,548 grant from theF.T. and Anna C. Manley Charitable Trust.
This funding will be used as “matching funds” for another grant that will be providing the library with 6 new public computers next year. We are so thankful for this opportunity to provide much needed new public computers for our community! (special thanks to library clerk Dianne Heim for the photo op!)
Thanks to a 2020 grant from the Tri-County Arts Council we have this lovely new bench made by local artist Tracy Fiegl. Come sit a spell, there’s even an outlet to charge your devices and our wifi is always on. (*This project was made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the NYS Council on the Arts with the support of Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the NYS Legislature and administered by Tri-County Arts Council.)
We’re very excited to announce that we have 2 Verizon WiFi HOTSPOTS available for checkout, all thanks to a grant from the Foundation for Southern Tier Libraries! These hotspots can connect up to 10 wifi enabled devices and provide free internet as long as you’re not in a “dead zone”. Feel free to ask us for more details!
