Wide Awake Club Library Board
Minutes of Tues. May 10, 2022

Judy moved to accept April minutes (thank you to fill-in secretary Shawn Hotchkiss!). Rebecca seconded. Motion carried.
Shawn moved to accept the April financial packet. Judy seconded. Motion carried.
Susan Hatch has finished our 2022 audit. Marriah has completed and filed IRS form 990 for 2021. We have received our second tax lev check from the school district.
Roxanne reports that our April volunteers’ luncheon was a well-attended and happy occasion.
On Fillmore Central School’s Day of Service (May 20), several students plan to come to the library and mulch the landscaped areas.
The Memorial Day book sale will run May 26 to June 10.
Reagan Zelaya will complete her library internship as of the end of May. She has undertaken a meaningful reorganization of the children’s room and a project by which lots of grubby copies of favorite kid’s titles were de-accessioned and replaced.
We continue to advertise the fact that we will circulate fishing poles. We’ll be keeping an eye on community response.
The remaining programs of May will include a Winnie-the-Pooh tea, now being planned.
In June, our library will be hosting a policy development workshop for directors and trustees.
