Minutes June 14, 2022
Pat moved to accept last month’s minutes as submitted. Karen seconded. Motion carried.
Brad moved to accept last month’s financial reports. Karen seconded. Motion carried.
Roxanne noted that the spring mulching project has been completed. She also told us that Emma Hopkins will be our youth worker for the summer.
The Memorial Day (plus) book sale took in $1,176.00. As has become standard practice, books remaining in the final few days of the sale can be taken for free. Books that go unclaimed for two straight years are disposed of by the welfare-to-work program.
Our next fund-raiser is the July Fourth barbecue.
The kickoff for the summer reading program will be June 25 at 10:30, after Free Fishing Saturday.
We will be hearing soon about Reagan’s grant proposal to the Allegany County Area Foundation for collection development.
When we reconvene in the fall we will be working on a personnel policy, a social media policy, and a long-range planning document.
